Rodents

Rodents

Having uninvited rodents in your Ohio home is most definitely a bad thing. Most people are a bit scared of these furry creatures and are disturbed to find their droppings around their house. But fear and disgust are the least of your worries when it comes to a rodent infestation. When rodents get into your house, they introduce your family to diseases and parasites and can destroy your home and belongings. At SafeHome, we offer effective rodent services that will eliminate your rodent problem.

When your technician arrives, they will complete a thorough inspection of your property for any signs of rodent activity that could indicate an infestation. This includes gnaw marks, rub marks, droppings, and live or dead rodents. We will then look for possible entry points rodents could be using to get inside as well as for conducive conditions that could be attracting rodents, such as firewood on the property, sheds in poor condition, etc.

We provide our rodent control services to both residential and commercial properties. During your initial service visit, we will install rodent traps in the attic and garage spaces. If necessary, we will also place bait traps around the exterior of your building.

On the exterior, we will place a bait stations, usually near an air conditioning unit or where the rodent activity is located. If we detect any small entry points on the ground level during the inspection, we will advise you on sealing them with copper mesh, caulk, and/or metal flashing. In some cases, use hardware cloth to seal the holes.

A week or two after your initial service visit, we will return once a week until we are certain that the entire rodent population in your home is eliminated or excluded. During these return visits, we will check all the traps present, removing any rodents and resetting traps as necessary. After this visit, we will return when you notify us that a trap has been set off. Trap servicing is part of our rodent control service. Although we do not offer sanitation services, we can offer expert recommendations on how to prevent future rodent infestations.
